I like all their changes so far, and as someone who played beta and got the collectors the first day. All I have to say is when I saw 1.19 patch notes I saw light from the darkness and now I see Version 2.... I have to say Finally Fantasy XIV is arriving and now the light is too bright that went I'm blind. Can't wait till they release it, the concept art looks awesome I hope they give us exactly what's in the picture or even better =D.

So after looking through those Upper La Noscea pieces of art, I pretty much think
That the serpent of Swallowtail Roam managed to flood parts of La Noscea, or that in conjunction with Meteor crashing down will be responsible.
Also I kinda wish the Sahagin were kinda bluer, but they look pretty cool I guess.

I feel so sorry for the people who run the FFXIV Wiki's when this is released...lmao

The version update made me so incredibly excited I'm going to post text in red!

Pretty awesome stuff, loving the new look of that UI, plus seems they are upgrading to Luminous, will def need a new PC, because I expect a decent graphical boost when 2.0 comes out, especially looking at that 2.0 screen.
That Dragoon armor looks awesome too.
Far too much good stuff coming, I am excited !!
My lala will be ditched for a male miqo'te, he will be missed.

I'm stunned with excitement and being completely caught off guard by the amount of content, art and details they released out of no where! I'm flipping pumped even more for this game and extremely optimistic about what's to come!
The only thing I'm afraid about is not the games future itself, I'm confident in its success one day, I'm just nervous about the part when it was talking about new servers and clients and what not.... I hope I don't lose contact with my server and all my friends on there~ >.< I hope I misread it though and just jumping to conclusions. Hope some of you have a better answer to help me out with that.
But overall, this $%!@ looks sick!!!! @_____@ I mean... the concept art alone was simply beautiful, let alone all the patch notes and future plans listed... *drools*
My morning read was:
- Read up on patch notes from last night, ok they made it in
- Oh hey whats this, something about subscriptions?
- Ah expected them to be coming soon, no worr.... wait whats this?

- .... /faint

I don't think you'll be moved from all your friends. I mean, when 2.0 launches they will be keeping all your character and all your progress.I'm stunned with excitement and being completely caught off guard by the amount of content, art and details they released out of no where! "Among our new plans is the fundamental reworking of in-game maps. As part of this process, there will be a period required for switching over to a new client and new servers, after which there will be a large transfer of data when service is brought back online. After the new client is completed, new software for the PC version will be distributed online, and can be acquired free of charge. Character data and progress for players already playing the PC version will also be preserved, allowing those players to continue using their in-game avatars."
The server change is more a behind the scenes type of thing that is needed to run the game. It's not referring to the game servers you play on, I think. Even if it does, I'm pretty sure they'd keep all the people on a certain server now, to the same new one.
They'd have huge backlash if they didn't.

David Ryder, the man of many names. He crosses from realm to realm to unleash a new name upon the world at every turn! Today, it's Bob Johnson.

Thanks man!I don't think you'll be moved from all your friends. I mean, when 2.0 launches they will be keeping all your character and all your progress.
