I assume you can speak Japanese or Read it fine then because otherwise... it would not make much sense to be have french UI with JP voices >.>; I find a lot of JP voice acting to be just as horrid if not worse. Plus it save me from having to read what is said if I just hear it.

that why i feel is better if we can have an option to choose from, because for me, japanese voice acting are good for me ears.

But this isn't an anime dub or sub; almost pointless to even have voice acting if you don't understand what it means.

I fully support this. English is good, but it'd be really great if we had the option to change the voice acting in japanese.

That's something I hardly hear.... lol That's just your opinion, for like anime.... English Dub is full on CRAP for me.
Dunno why the hell Netflix don't have JP voice with English subs.......

I know all/most my friends here in Cali would prefer JP voicing rather than English dub on anime, I think this can apply same for FFXIV.

Also, yes I know it is my opinion but so is the whole JP VA > others arguement.(so no point in taking this further)

Either way I don't care, but I can see reasoning why they wouldn't bother implementing it and even more so with all that is on their plate right now. Also note that many people skip cutscenes(more so in dungeons)... I would assume those contain VA.

Really impressed with all the changes that should come over the next year and also bit glad the billing near end of november and not at the start.
Other big video games out at this time.

Im ok with this but i hope they can add a sort of cutscenes which covers what happened in this period into the cutscene replay feature thing they thinking about and it be intresting to see the origonal story kept in some form like maybe the chapters of the seventh umbral era, chapter 1 the 3 nations introduction cutscenes chapter 2 the trip to uldah ect ect in the new ff14 almost like an old story book or something.

In reponse to what one other posters said i know 2013 a way off , i not sure starwars will be any good as a mmorpg and i will avoid it myself.
guildwars 2 does look good however. I think if they stick to roadmap then my hope is the game will turn into something really great and after reading the latest letter from producer i more happy to see what the vision for the game is to point where its exciting to see what game might turn into.

I do understand quite a bit personally, but of course, it should be so that you can have English (or whatever) sub-titles while the audio is some other language.

It can be done like this in many other games, has been for ages. I have no idea why SqEX has been so...blubb about it always. I think this would be a good time to start changing that! ^^

How can ANYONE complain about this? THIS is Final Fantasy. This is what I was expecting from day one.

Forget you haters, go play Star Wars or Guild Wars 2. FFXIV 2.0 will absolutely destroy those titles when it arrives.
