Void Ark loot Rage thread!

Lol it seems each time I've been in there, one of the bosses has dropped two pieces of the same MNK gear, without having any MNKs in the party.

Last night on my DRG(all ilvl 190 except for 180 chest/ring, and 210 belt), head drops from second boss, so I scoop it up, remembering the times I ran WoD 25 times for one specific loot. Obviously the DRG chest drops on both the 3rd and 4th bosses.... cries...

It's not really any different then Ct and Wod were as always was Monk and Bard gear. No lie back in the Ct days it took me over 100 runs to get the darn crimson robe and over 200 in Wod for the caster Robe, and no i am not exaggerating.
I swear even if rng the coding must be set to favor non-caster classes

Thus far I've gotten everything I've decided to go for within a few runs. That said, I feel like duplicate drops happens far more often than they really should.

Whenever i do void ark it's 1 healer drop every 5 runs, every other item drop is ninja/mnk/drg.

It's all RNG people, it's also life. Deal with it.

I went through a nightmare in WoD for the BRD chest, 2 weeks of farming everyday and the final 8 hour marathon which finally saw my suffering end. RNG again, every single run I was not alone, there was always another BRD in my pt. Always at least 2, even 4 BRD's sometimes. While the other 2 pt's have 1 or no BRD's. Then I roll a 1, then I don't see it again for another week. When it finally dropped again, there were 3 BRD's in my pt, one of them rolled a 1 and I literally cried and the other guy said he'll pass for me. Thank god for bringing that guy to earth, Player of the Year folks.


Tis is life, there is nothing wrong with the loot system. It ain't broke, it's just RNG. Sometimes you get to the point where you think you it's broke and the game hates you, nah you just suck at RNG. It also took me about 3 weeks for the Dreadwyrm weapon, running on average 5 times a day, to finally see the wep and chest double drop after god knows how many runs (not even god will know how many wipes).

Not rage-y like everyone else's in this thread, but I've had absurd luck. I got my body on my second run my first week and pants the first run on the second. . .

But I actually really want the Echidna Card. I just can't justify running it only for the Card and Minion, so my luck is basically keeping me from getting the non-gear items I want.

We only have ourselves to blame for multiples of a specific item dropping in the same run. If people wouldn't ditch the moment their loot drops or doesn't drop, they would have never had to change the way it works.

just me venting but i swear i have been spamming this thing trying to get loot as a healer, because its my new main cause someone in the static didn't want to heal i guess. and healers get a 30 minutes wait time to get in void ark. Now that's not so bad i mean dps used to get that wait time too, BUT healer loot does not drop in that stupid place i swear i had to settle for tank look last week just to get something, and i keep running it and running it and never see healer loot. Instead i see this crap!

I have ran Void Ark 3 times and gotten 2 pieces of healer gear, body and feet. So it does in fact drop just as much. Its just RNG being RNG. Some people do 1 run some do 30 to get 1 piece of gear. It took me 112 Shiva EX runs to get my sch book for instance.

I got the tank body in my first run last week and the tank pants in my first run this week.

Nope, nothin' to rage about here.
