I don't think we have a single jp NM team on wutai and English speakers dominate the xivpro lists. Perhaps those who do play are disproportionately okay with combined servers, and that culture centricity wil increase with the ps3 release. Also keep in mind that in xi we were added to their game layer. In this one they started with us. I don't think there are enough jp players to mount a jp only response.

Unfortunately I doubt their opinions of us actually changed, and it's just a different type of demographic posting.

From my understanding, they don't like how westerners act. More so Americans. Americans can be very racist and were. They insulted the jp player base when they got a chance to. Like the NA laught at the jp's wanting other to ask b4 checking since their check message was a tad on the >.> "the fraq why you peeping at me". I never had an issue with the jp player base. I partied with them and try to respected how they were. They prob dislike when we use auto translation to say dirty stuff and I don't blame them.

That can go two ways Japanese can be very racist and mean with there words i know know how many times me and my gf been called names by the Japanese player base some of them think they know how to play the game better then anyone else so they just stay with there own ppl. Same goes with the Australians who dislike Americans and calling us names but i guess that was just the LS i was in. I'm cuban so i can't speak for myself when my own ppl are very racist to gays and non cuban black ppl.

I just hope we can get pass all our differences and play the game then just slip the game by where you live. I know there a lot of NA,JP,EU, linkshell poping around which does have EU,JP in it so thats a start.

At the end it's going to be down to the Language problem too we have a system we can talk to each other then what we have in ffxiv and Language Tools

I know jp can be racist for sake of being racist nearly every race is racist.
Like i read in a newspaper several mnths ago warning mothers of a possible chinese american paranting book out. Pretty much the chinese american mother who wrote it feels american mothers are bad moms.
That we don't raise our kids right.

Pretty much stating always be harsh and strict, only do schooling that will benifit them in the future. Like only a few music classes, nothing silly like drama, and only a select few sports. Going as far as borderline child abuse saying put it so if your kid say can't learn a piano peice in a certain time frame they can't get a drink use the restroom untill they learned it.

And also said never praise your kids, and feel free to insult them if they don't look how they should, like calling them fat or ugly or a pig or worst.
