Tanks can STR... why not let Healers go Int???

Sure we have cleric stance... but let healers utilise Int like tanks utilize Str.. and Mages utilise Mnd in the same manner =D.

I actually tried this and went full Int in a dungie.. and boy my deeps was thru the roof.. and NO cleric stance dancing. It was pretty great.

I know right? Stone III is basically a low power Fire I, and Holy is a flashier Fire II in cleric stance. Wow lately lots of bad healers coming out of woodworks here. I'd NEVER gear for INT. That's what I have BLM for.

Not this again.... This has got to be the most absurd analogy I have ever encountered..... VIT is like PIE - a tank with no HP is the same as a Healer with no MP, both useless. Cleric Stance just lowers healing and increases damage dealt but still has the MP to cast stuff. A tank is supposed to be well.. tanky. Their dps stances are already enough price to pay that they don't have that extra tankiness and just makes them a dps class that have defensive cooldowns. Stop promulgating such nonesense.

Better yet mate, i once went full dex (with left main gear melds) on my pld so i could test out my shield lob build, it was pretty damn good, square just needs to fix the insane tp cost (as of now its a dps loss due to TP) but once they hotfix that ill be right back on my ranged dex pld build

I rather like the skill cap that stance dancing brings to the table. Since you're stance dancing during low damage phases or when the damage at hand is being covered, "full INT" wouldn't really bring anything new to me that CS doesn't, and only serves to muddy the gear choices for those that can't handle stance dancing to begin with.

There's no need to be able to DPS and heal at proficient levels at the same time, save for oGCD healing abilities, and it's hardly taxing to drop CS to throw out Lustrate, ED, Tetra, and get back in the flow.
