What job should I level next?

So I currently have DRG, DRK and MCH at 60.

MCH was a waste. It's i190 but I just don't like its play style.

I have WAR and NIN also both at 50 and don't particularly like them either.

The only jobs I have truly enjoye are DRG and DRK which both have a very aggressive play style, tons of OGCD abilities and very similar combo systems.

So are there any other jobs that play like this? I have GLA at 30 and did not enjoy it at all. Nor did I like Monk.

I'm curious about SMN which I have at nearly 40 but never really learned much about.

I also want to level a healer but am not sure which one. I like playing with WHMs but I don't know how it plays and healing is difficult on a controller.

Also I should point out why I dislike WAR and NIN. It because their opening comp branches into two (sometimes three) different combos.

Whereas on DRG it is basically 1,2,3,4,5,6 and DRK 1,2,3 / 1,4,5

Well, to each their own.

If you didn't like MCH, I wouldn't bother with BRD. They play pretty similarly, from what I've seen. Too similarly for my taste. Though, depending on why you dislike MCH, you may end up liking BRD. They're similar, but they still have their differences.

You should take another look at GLD now that Shield Swipe is an OGCD skill. It makes it feel a bit faster. Still, it won't feel as aggressive as DRK/DRG - nothing will.

This covers all of the Disciples of War. If you only like DRK/DRG so far, than that's all you'll like.

Disciples of Magic are a whole different feeling altogether. Can't really compare them to most Disciples of War all too well.

I play whm with a ps4 controller its really not too difficult, just have to add the l2+r2 extra hot xbar. Up and down on Dpad works great for selecting players to heal. Eventhough using r1 orr2 to cycle mobs is kind of a pain. If you like button smashing ogcd stuff and want to heal, go sch.

MNK gets super fun at 54+ with always stuff to do in between GCDs.
It felt boring and slow until 55 because of perceived lag waiting for the stance changes.
With [The Forbidden Chakra] unlocked its very exciting trying to squeeze in [Meditation] to build up Chakra in battle.
Its becoming my fav DPS job after DRG.

SMN at 56+ Tri-Disaster and 58 with Dreadwyrm Trance makes the class a lot more enjoyable with the burst dmg instead of managing dots until then.

Its worth giving them a chance for the jobs to play out if you have the patience for it.

AST I find fun because of cards. It makes for a good healer, though given your criteria I don't think it's for you. SCH, well, you can squeeze through by having your pet on Sic (AKA it does everything of its own accord), so that makes healing a LOT simpler on SCH. You might find that useful on a controller. Just don't expect to be doing Alex Savage with your pet on Sic.

If you want Healer + DPS, of course I recommend Arcanist. You can play both Scholar and Summoner in one time.

Dreadwyrm trance and Deathflare alone make SMN well worth taking to 60 and what's more is you'll get a 60 SCH out of it if you wanted to toy around with healing.
