Change Tournaments

I appreciate the effort to make LoV tournaments legitimate tournaments but it didn't work. The same people who exploit TT are doing it with LoV. My server currently has people using two accounts and paying people to lower the ranking of their main after every tournament win.

Change it so you can only play people on other servers. The Saucer should be fun but those tournaments give the zone a seedy feel and tarnish what is currently the best MMO community.

Im pretty sure they also can click withdraw when the DF-like screen pops if their cheating buddies didn't end up in the same battle as them. Of course se isnt going to do anything about it. I dont know why they didnt put it on the damn df in the first place when it takes a df spot anyway(as per their admission on the thread asking about lockouts via the tutorial) and if you click withdraw when it pops up its auto-lose so they cant keep entering and clicking withdraw if they didn't end up in the same queue (at least for the tourney pops not for the other battles). Now i'll probably not place top 10 probably because of it, ill get screwed of rewards that should have been rightfully mine.

They can only withdraw 3 times before they also get a lockout, I think.

Nevertheless, the tournaments are still extremely easy to rig. Plus it sucks that I get 1 point per match because I enjoyed minion battles and played a lot of RP matches, so my RP was too high for the tournament. I ended up just giving 6 wins to my alt since no one of high enough RP was queueing, because screw it since if SE doesn't let people actually good at minion battles win the tournament then what's the point? I'm literally undefeated in 100+ legit RP matches, yet I can't win the tournament because I get no points.

They should just look up the Starcraft Automated tournaments and do it that way. 16 people at a time queue in and do elimination matches. The tournament queues happen all day so whenever enough people sign up, another instance will pop. That way there can be many "1st place" players, and there's less chance of trading. Plus you can do tournaments all day anytime, no more 30 match restrictions.
