There you have it. And if you would stick to your Ninja lvl 60, at least get DRG to 34.. and Monk 42.

If that's an ALT Character, does that means you unlocked all jobs to 60 on your main and are bored, and want to go to the pain of lvling again, the which you despise?

That's beyond me. There's plenty enough ways to lvl up, more easier than ever for lvl 1-50.

So 2 choices:

1- You stop complaining here (I'm not saying this game is perfect, but if you think this is grind, go play a Korean MMO) and do what we did and are still doing, a.k.a. lvling up.

2- You do as you mentionned, once your 'time' is up (don't purchase other cards to extend it) then give up.

an MMO, lvling is part of it. and should be fun. When it stops being fun for me, I do other things in the game.

Find Friends: the chatting goes a long way while waiting for queues, and shortens it when you can have your own party.

SE doesn't force you to lvl up all jobs. You can try one, get to love it, and then stick to it forever (unlock all Cross-Class that are needed for it)

Yeah okay GG. So I am the idiot according to all of you here. Try to level up something new then I'll laugh at you. I dare you to try it. But since you all seem to think your system is perfect then I won't use forums any more to complain. I'll just quit and stop giving my money to Squeenix.

I recently just leveled my ninja to cap. Did that with a combination of leves, fates and mostly dungeons. Wasn't that bad at all. So, guess we're at a stalemate? You hate the process, I didn't find it horrible (and I am typically insanely slow with leveling).

If you don't enjoy the game, move on. Plenty of other games out there that may fit better. If you think you'll find something in XIV you do like, suck it up and finish the leveling.

Food bonus, FC with exp buff, run your hunting log for each class, challenge log stuff, not to mention a lot of FATEs can be solo'd. If you run around doing FATEs and hunting log while waiting for duty to pop, you're always leveling. Plus, fetch quests that are at your level. You can also put up a PF to see if you can grab a tank and/or healer for a few runs. Idk what you're talking about with a two hour queue, either. My dps queue has been really short lately. I queue, start a beast tribe quest, and I'm in before I've even finished an objective.

OP, one of the benefits of being an Arcanist is you have access to Topaz Carbuncle. He's great for helping solo fates. Once you hit 30 and unlock your chocobo companion, it's like having your own mini party. Thanks to this, I personally found soloing SMN to be quite relaxing and enjoyable. I hope this helps.

As others have said, remember your hunting log. That small boost can help you a ton!

That's the thing, he doesn't need to be told about Fates, Hunting Log, etc.. cause it's not his first Character!! *shrugs* so he's part of the 'old players' ..

lvling an ALT to complain that it's long lvling up, for me it's pure attention-seeking.

For me, he just wanted some TLC.

There was several ways you could of replied and you chose a frank answer being inconsiderate of the op's situation basically telling them "Don't like lvling? too bad.". Its not the first time it happened and it wont be the last since I suppose people like that sort of stuff since you have some many thumbs ups as well as the other similar posts. And for those who answer threads like that are, and now I'll be frank, sound like a#$holes.

Lvling is the crappiest part of the game. No one likes it. btw Beast tribe quests are completely optional.

Sorry to burst your bubble (after thought, nope), but for me MMO = Leveling. The End game, where you do the same over and over, just to get glamour once you're at the full iLvl, for some it ain't fun with the rude behavior and expectation of the git gud community.

I am enjoying lvling even if it's long. I don't care because I play an MMO.. which is meant to be for the long run. So I am an a#$holes since I like it. Thank you ^^

*he's complaining about lvling an ALT, which means he's been through a MAIN somewhere.. so if you despise lvling that much, you don't lvl an ALT. /Thread

btw Beast tribes for my NIN now gives me close to 150k xp per day. Doing your Hunt lvl 1-2-3 everyday will neat you around 300 k per day, plus nice Centurios seals..

If you do your Challenge Log, you get 84k per accomplishment (scaled of course), like.. 5 and then 10 fates (plus the xp from the fates), then 20 leves per week (plus the xp from the leves), then Dongeon roulettes, then 5 dungeons.. plus the bonus for food, plus the bonus from FC..

If you cannot level up quickly that way, I don't know what to say.

If it's not your first character then why aren't you high level then?
Oh right cause you quit (your fault) just like you want to quit again, do you quit everything in life just cause it isn't super easy catered to you?
Btw I can easily start a new char from scratch and out level you cause my mental capacity isn't diminished

I know the op is probably long gone, but he's on the aether data center, same as me. I had a 5 min dps low roulette queue last night, so yeah, dungeons are terrible to use for leveling.

Also, as ACN, Topaz makes soloing fates really easy til 30...when you can use sch for dungeons. My guess is he has no idea how to use the class even somewhat effectively

For your first job, it should be really easy to reach the lvl cap if you run dungeons and complete side quests, plus story, so not sure why complain if that's the issue.

If you refer to leveling multiple jobs, I agree at some point, since for a game that encourages you to level a lot of jobs, the lvling can be a bit boring sometimes for alternate jobs, but it's not THAT bad tbh. Dungeons, Duty Finder, Hunts, Leves, and FATES should help you reach lvl cap if you focus on it.

Part of the problem I think is, leveling the opening class through MSQ is very fast and fluid. You get a substantial amount of experience through first time bonus and one time questing. That in itself makes off class leveling seem slower by itself. It's why I switched gears and started leveling alts. Not only will I have 8 characters with unique classes and Jobs, I will have 8 characters, not being gated by timers and MSQ gating. For people with standard 3, you can have a Tank, Healer and DPS in a similar situation. Sure, you 'can' level all classes on one character. You 'can' do a lot of things in FF14. I wouldn't recommend a lot of them. You 'can' mine 18,000 nodes and get an out dated level 50 Luminary gathering tool. I'm not too sure why you would though.
