Leveling up makes me want to quit.

Part of the problem I think is, leveling the opening class through MSQ is very fast and fluid. You get a substantial amount of experience through first time bonus and one time questing. That in itself makes off class leveling seem slower by itself. It's why I switched gears and started leveling alts. Not only will I have 8 characters with unique classes and Jobs, I will have 8 characters, not being gated by timers and MSQ gating. For people with standard 3, you can have a Tank, Healer and DPS in a similar situation. Sure, you 'can' level all classes on one character. You 'can' do a lot of things in FF14. I wouldn't recommend a lot of them. You 'can' mine 18,000 nodes and get an out dated level 50 Luminary gathering tool. I'm not too sure why you would though.

My only issue with leveling is that I can't use my chocobo while in queue for dungeons. I like to queue and farm fates while I wait, but not being able to use my chocobo is kinda frustrating when I'm soloing fates. Other than that leveling is kinda easy, basically all MMOs nowadays are easy to level.

So you suggest to further nerf this game in order to get all your jobs to 60? And what when you hit all your jobs to 60? You expect an apocalyptic event to happen? You can't play all those jobs actively once you get at 60. If you are not happy and the game makes you wanna quit go ahead and do it. I can't imagine anyone playing a game he/she doesn't love and have fun.

OP is complaining about leveling taking a long time. Wow if he thinks that that takes a long time then hope nobody tells him about leveling his chocobo.

But FFXIV has one of the best leveling system out there compared to most MMOs and of course leveling a character for the second time you are going to be bored. Simply because you have done it all before.

There's nothing to fix. Those who had everything 50+, had the time from 1.0 - 2.0 and so on. Most were already 50 from 1.0. It is your choice to want to get them all to 50 instantly, but you'll realize unless you have that much time on your hands you won't be able to pimp out each job. If your goal is not to pimp them out then don't worry, you'll get there just like the rest of us.

Yes do FATES too, where? I dunno, depends on your level. I chose to google Fate Leveling Guide and that showed me where to go at what level. Toss out that Chocobo and start slapping stuff up.

If you want to get everything to 50 I guess you enjoy playing a lot of different roles. So not to burn yourself out on them why not go into dungeons as SCH, Leve / Fate as SMN?

Yeah okay GG. So I am the idiot according to all of you here. Try to level up something new then I'll laugh at you. I dare you to try it. But since you all seem to think your system is perfect then I won't use forums any more to complain. I'll just quit and stop giving my money to Squeenix.
