    1. Roulettes are currently broken, so the OP does have a point. (That said, my leveling roulette was only 37 minutes last night on MCH, compared to the 60-90 minutes others are reporting.)

    2. To the OP: Your first job to 60 is the only freebie, and after that you can get two jobs to 15-ish off quests, at which point you're expected to hit dungeons. Everything else is meant to take blood sweat and tears. It took me all of the 2.x to get all the jobs to 50. That is, almost two years. Of course you can't expect to replicate that in the course of a few months. You're not supposed to; the game was really designed for you to gear out one or two jobs at most. You're supposed to get most of the classes into the 20s, and then decide what you like best based off that.

Sounds like op does not wish to apply thyself to the work required to progress.

IMO go on back to watching someone else play the game on a stream if you can't handle the most simple part of the game.

Stop crying all ready. I leveled an alt character to 50, a monk, in about 2 weeks, from the ground up, as well as all crafting and gathering classes on said toon between 15-20. And I work shift work. So yes, you really are doing something wrong.

I stand by my point that in an MMO a grind is going to be a thing, and for example FATE groups, if there isn't any in PF, make one. You either suck it up and work around it, or you can quit. Thing is, if she needed people for quicker dungeon queues, and she was on my server, I would help if she put a PF for it. Or if she was on my friends list and messaged me asking for help, or if she was in my FC. Indeed right now I'm helping an FC mate with Stone Vigil for XP.

Eh, I recently leveled up Summoner from lvl 15 to 60, I spammed dungeons for the majority of the time. Spamming dungeons is the fastest way to lvl up.

Just remind yourself to grind fates when you hit lvl 50 untill lvl 51, after hitting lvl 51 you can continue spamming dungeons again.

wtf, OP! i'm new as well FFXIV Nat Silverguard, this is the only game I played that has the easiest grind to level up. almost everytime i unlock a certain dungeon, im over level and being synced.

but if you really hate grinding then try this game EvE Nat Silverguard (password: turtle), no need to grind. you are gaining SP over time even if you don't log in as long as you are subbed.

Worth noting your first class is almost trivially easy to level with all the quests the game tosses at you. The other classes are a bit more tedious, since you aren't doing anything new ((the fact that a number of these quests being your Xth fetch quest not withstanding))

I'll never understand why people who complain about the simple little things in this game still pay to play this game. If you dislike it so much just unsubscribe. Nobody is forcing you to play something you don't like. It's a way better alternative than coming on the forums to complain and expecting everybody to back you up. Then, turn around and complain more when people don't agree with you. If you hate it so much then quit the game. If grinding levels is upsetting you, then grinding for gear post 60 is going to make you want to throw your PC/PS3/4 out the window.

I'm of two minds when I try to think of a reply to the OP:

On the one hand, the game makes it fairly easy to get to level 50 with a job after your first. I may have done it in two weeks or less. I pretty much just did hunt logs, some fates at Aleport, and then a series of dungeon spams at the appropriate level, with some fates here and there, all the way to 50. It's been pretty much the same after 50, just a bit slower, although they just upped the exp gained from dungeons and I got a huge amount from having done the Aery. Queue times were pretty easy as I usually had a tank friend with me at the minimum.

On the other hand, it's got to be one of the most boring level ups in any game I have ever played (after the first job). There's really nothing to be gotten from doing any fates except exp. There's really nothing to be gotten out of any of the old dungeons, either. It's really repetitive and nothing useful drops. There's no RNG to surprise you or anything. It's just an exp grind over and over from level 1 to 60 for as many jobs as you can handle doing that for. The only fun I had from it was had from doing it with friends. I have only tried it once with a second job, and I am not done yet. Really not sure I want to do any more, even though there are jobs I would like to have.

Queue times are definitely an issue if you are trying to queue alone. Time spent waiting might take longer than the time spent doing. Seriously. Also, it's way, way, way more fun with friends, so if you haven't already, do yourself a favor and find an FC and LS you like and play with them. Definitely do not queue alone except for those rare times there's no choice.
