Housing glamor issue

I know there are probably many who own their own home outside of their FC's that are chomping at the bit to be able to glamor their house with the new Moogle House. However there is a major hang up with that. It is 100% dependent if the FC leader decides there is time to get to who ever wants that done. Because the initial mats are retrieved with the FC Airship this is dependent on the FC leaders decision. If someone who wants this glamor is in a busy FC they could be waiting months or more before they can glamor their house. Also this set up is a burden on the FC when they likely have much more important things to do with the FC airship.
My Suggestion is to create a special workshop for single player housing. There the player could build an airship that only collects mats for housing glamours. This would allow the player to control when this can happen and take a burden off of their FC.

Guess there seems to be no interest since no responses. I guess either I was wrong and very few care about the Moogle housing glamor or there are many FCs who have no issue with giving a member a turn in getting, via the FC Airship, getting the needed items. I still think be a very good idea to give single houses a work shop even if it does't allow building an Air Ship that can take part in the new expeditions.

This isn't a new issue. All of the Item Shop exterior fixtures, and the Moogle and Chocobo Topiaries all need airship exclusive items.

I don't really like the idea of needing to beg your FC for items for your personal housing, but at the same time I appreciate that there are tangible rewards for being part of an active FC.

The problem is less of the schematic materials (they increased the sectors you can get certain schematic items from), but getting airship-exclusive semi-rare mats like the Dravanian Motes needed + a 2*-ready master alchemist to craft them.

However, if all that's stopping your FC from crafting moogle exteriors then all you have to do is wait for the unlock while you gather the materials. You could also accelerate the process by purchasing the needed schematic materials yourself (via PF advertisement or connections). Shoving mats into the machine to craft it only takes maybe 10 minutes worth of time. Getting those Dravanian Down Trees on your own though... have fun.

The main problem is more determined by the leader and how much they want to control who takes out the airship to gain the needed mats. Ours has very tight control and has to approve anyone sending out an airship. That said I still feel SE can make a limited workshop with an airship that only goes out and collects mats for housing glamours and that's it. That does not infringe in anyway on the benefit of being a member of a FC. In fact it lessens the burden an FC on allowing multiple members to tie up the airships for their own house. Just like I wouldn't take Krakka roots from the FC bank or magicked stable brooms from there for my own chocobo stables. I should be responsible to manage my house on my own.

I dont like so many mats locked behind rng airship missions as well...too much rng in the game already..stop it se.

I also play on Exodus which is my original server. I have one character in an FC there and was over there visiting friends in it and mentioned about this issue. One of them said there has been a lot of FC drama especially with large FCs over this. I can imagine that a large FC will probably have many more members who own their own house. I would imagine that there is probably a lot of drama over many if not all of them wanting the Moogle house glamor. Like I said the best way to solve this is to either, like MistyMew said allow us to farm the needed mats that at this time are tied up with a FC's airship, or give us a workshop where we build our own airship that is limited to gathering glamor matts only.

This hasn't been a problem for me and my FC yet, but I wanted to show support. Since I'm the only one in my FC with a personal house, I don't want to use the workshop for housing glamour for myself until everyone else has access(we're a pretty small company).
