Redo the Crafting system.

I have been an avid SE MMORPG Player for 13 years now. I love your games and always have. But not for the crafting. I honestly didn't think it could get any worse than FFXI as far as crafting goes. Congratulations. This game is far worse. I have avoided for a long time and this is due to the broken system. Please redo it. Please.

IMO was earlier... It was fine doing the Main Scenario Quests and Unlock Quests once to have access to every feature of the game. Then came Specialization and Desynth with cap. So really needing 3 different chars (and having to do MSQ and unlocks thrice) in order to have ready access to all crafting content devalued the system a lot for me. The system became more like other common MMOs where you need alts to be able to explore all the crafting content.

Can't make everyone happy, right? As long as the majority is happy, then it caters the general public. Much like youtube videos, if there are 200k likes and a few hundred dislikes, then it is doing a great job. Although, the few hundred dislikes always make me scratch my head.

Only complaint I have with crafting currently is the arbitrary cap on red scrips (which is being fixed in Stormblood) and gating common materials behind unspoiled nodes for Heavensward recipes. (coerthan tea leaves, abalathian mistletoe, etc.)

Now is not the time to ask for change. Change is already coming: Stormblood is in the final pre-launch stages, and they aren't going to jeopardize the announced launch with any unnecessary changes.

We don't know what the system will look like after Stormblood launches. So it's a waste of time to ask for change now. Once people have some experience with the Stormblood crafting system, then asking for change would be appropriate. But right now, it's not.

I'm not even going to ask for suggestions on HOW to "fix" it, but could you at least elaborate on what you think exactly is lacking or not working properly??? Is is scrips??? Cross class skills?? WHAT IS IT???
