Crafting Log: Add a "Sort by: Uncrafted" Option ♪

The Crafting Log is turning into quite a massive beast these days. The Quality of life improvements we've received thus far are most excellent. Being able to recipe search, splitting up the Master books into two sections, and being able to sort the crafting list by any category we want (ie. Roof, Exterior Wall, Window, etc.) These are greatly appreciated additions.


However, with 50-100+ items added to the Crafting List each patch in can become increasing difficult looking for recipes we have not crafted yet. Scrolling through hundreds of items, level by level, looking for any item that doesn't have a check mark next to it is becoming increasingly time consuming.


My suggestion is that a sort option be added that only shows recipes you have not Crafted yet (any recipe that doesn't have a check mark next to it.) This will allow you to instantly find new recipes added after a patch. For crafter's who like to keep their crafting log 100% completed this would be a Godsend.

I agree with this. Our Hunting Logs (remember these?) allow us to view only entries we haven't completed yet. This would be nice to have on our crafting and maybe gathering logs too.

This really would be an excellent addition to the crafting (and gatheirng) logs. In addition to getting the achievements for different recipes crafted, crafting new recipes provides a bonus to EXP that is very useful in leveling the classes not yet at 60.

I understand that people who "gotta catch 'em all" (i.e. completion-ists) might want this, but I don't think my wife or I would ever use it, and I'm not sure what percentage of crafters would.

So because SE cannot do everything anyone might like, there might be more popular features that SE could implement for crafters instead of this. Like some of the functionality I currently rely on Garland Tools for (e.g. building "shopping lists," finding similar-looking gear, etc) ...

Well, it wouldn't HURT if they added this in, would it? If anything it'd just be another filter option. That being said, an actual "favorites" list would also be nice and work just as well: mark certain recipes that maybe we don't have the mats for (or maybe furniture that we'd like to build for houses) as favorites and have them show up in a list all of their own.

The only issue I really see with this filter option would be the crafts that don't actually mark as crafted. There are some crafts in each class that don't get a check mark once built and so SE would have to have the feature first filter out these types of items THEN filter out those already crafted.
