Buy npc gear for 7k, sell on marketboard for 60k
Stuff from Churning mist emptier of purses,
adamantite weapons and offhands from the 2 locked out zones to people who haven't done storymode

Farm the minions that sell for 2-3 million but this may take hundreds of dungeon runs

umm what else.. Just check the marketboard, use desynthesis, sell demimateria, sell HQ items from any heavensward quest you haven't done.

Retainers can bring back stuff like Vortex Feather which sells for 3.2 million atm for my server. DoW and DoM has a chance to bring this back. Also stuff like Iron Giant Scrap comes from DoW retainers, those go for idk 600k+

Also like others have said go kill some deepeyes and dragons...sell mats

Use your GC seals for popular stuff


OHHHH go spam Diadem, sell materia or crafting mats that previously have been locked behind red scrips..

gathering and crafting (less now but still some thing sells for millions , leveling a gathering class can net u 40-50k every day with 10 min of work (maps)

farm mobs that drop some items that sell well (Dragons deepeyes , and the huge mobs that drop milk , name escapes me atm !) those items sell for 600gil each HQ for way more than that and drops arent rare usually 1-3 drops every other mob

who would buy your gear ?

People like you who don't have any crafts leveled and care about keeping their gear up to date. I barely even craft the 51-59 stuff, mostly level 30-50. They're simple to make, the mats are easy to gather, and they sell from 10k-100k. In one hour I can make well over a million gil worth of gear. It doesn't sell that fast, obviously, but I hope you get my point.

Did you wear level one gear till 60? Or were you so lucky that you always got the drops you needed for the slots you needed in dungeons? Or were you one of the terribly geared players people see in leveling roulette? If none of the above, you probably bought gear at some point while leveling. There's no such thing as a "useless class" in this game.

Look for market deficiencies and take advantage of them.

If you know what mats are commonly used, then they're often good places to look at. (Especially on smaller servers, where supply sometimes isn't so consistent)

i send my retainers out for skins and sell em like hotcakes
workin up a lthw so i can make those skins into leathers for even more $$$
its easy to make money without little to no work with a retainer they just bring the things and you sell em
of course if you do want millions fast then you gotta put in the work, if making tons of money was easy imagine the mess the market would be in, the more gil in the system the more items inflate in cost to make up for that

If you want gil quickly, but not so much: Craft consumables, gather material used in lots of recipes.

If you want medium amount of gil in medium time: Some other consumables, material that sells for higher but not as often, and so on. Also check to see if market board prices on items are higher than NPC prices and still selling. You could make some money buying from NPC and selling on the MB.

Slow accumulation of lots of gil: Run dungeons for rare, salable drops that costs millions. Do maps which drop rare, expensive stuff and sell it. Send your retainers on Quickies and hope that they bring back treasure instead of fish and roof-tiles. Basically find out the most expensive base product on the market, get it, and sell it.

Of course, I'm broke as fudge at the moment, so you might want to reconsider taking advice from me (I like to experiment with glamours, so, yeah).

I run a brothel, have multiple ponzi, and pyramid schemes. As well for shits and giggles I hustle seniors for their pensions. I sell HQ animal skins for 5g a piece. That's how I roll.
