    Rejoin Timer

During one of the recent Live Letters we were asked to give feedback on the rejoin time to undertake a second exploratory mission. After a few trips I thought it was relatively fine, it's easy to fit other activities between exploration runs, but I've also encountered an issue:

While some parties have issues with AFKers or leechers (which has been discussed in some detail by other threads), it is important to note that if the party is crippled by these players there is also a secondary effect: players who actually want to play end up either being forced to wade through an experience that isn't very rewarding (lack of contribution and chests), or even worse have to wait an extremely long time if they decide that a new party is needed.

I think there needs to at least be the ability to requeue if one leaves before all of the aether turbulence have been activated for a player, or the first 15 minutes (perhaps whichever comes first). I was in a party today that just couldn't handle unlocking it's currents, and it was mind-boggling, and I don't think it's fair to punish the rest of us with an extreme wait-time for deciding to try our luck with a different group.

I hope this is an edge case, but based on some other complaints I've read I am not sure.

I encountered a problem just now. I was in a run and all was fine through the collection of the Currents and then I got booted for no reason. Internet snafu? Data center whim? What have you. I had to go back to the log in screen, log in and reconnect. Two minutes tops but by this time the other healer and two dps left. We stayed for a few minutes but could not register enough dps to manage loot share, so we had to disband. I thought there was a 30 minute cool down timer between runs, but instead it barred us from entering for another 1:45 - the full two hours. This makes no sense. Due to maintenance, we can't get another run in tonight.

    Several things I think:

The cooldown timer should not include the elapsed time of the run itself but simply count down from instance exit.

30 minutes between runs is just too long. All parties disband during that time. 15 minutes is more reasonable.

There should be a grace period to cover various issues that arise, such as the one outlined above, or griefers and everyone leaving. You should be able to reform with no penalty or cooldown and re-enter if, say, you have left for some reason and it's only been 10-15 minutes elapsed (with the exception of the normal abandon penalty and you are the first to leave).

The dps claim issue is a big problem. In the case I describe, contribution towards claim should scale or something. The loot share claim is actually the biggest problem I have with Diadem and there are countless posts on it, but it's definitely all wrong and needs to be fixed. It was the underlying reason the party disbanded in the case I describe, and I have encountered this problem on other runs I have done when gatherers were involved.
