Harassment of DoL in Diadem via DF

Not gonna read the entire thread,

But if you're gonna queue up with a friend to gather, thats a nono. meaning 2 people less to claim DMG on mobs. they will high likely not get any drops. If you wanna gather i suggest either queuing alone or make a PF For it.
How ever, i do respect the fact that you guys did not lot anything.

I'm fine with someone gathering, but the main purpose there is farming loot. And that is not gonna happen if multiple people focus on gathering, i'm sorry to say that but it is the harsh truth. And yes, its a design flaw, i usually gather the last 5-10 minutes cause i do not plan on screwing 7 other people over for my own personal goals or what ever you wanna call it.

Is that the MAIN purpose tho? The mats I gather from nodes are hidden items from other nodes, so it saves me a lot of time to gather there. My FC mates were getting chests from mobs with a group of 4 yesterday, it's all about focusing on the same target.

I just don't see how it makes me selfish to want to gather when the other guy is going to curse and slander me when I'm playing the game AS INTENDED. Isn't it selfish to expect someone else to do what you want them to do, just because you don't like what they're doing? I don't expect anything to change tbh, but honestly if you're going to cry and ruin someone's day because things didn't go the way you want, you don't deserve that 210 gear. And tbh, when I'm gathering, I'm not looting so I'm missing out on spoils for the run. Both sides are losing something, the issue here is the disrespect and verbal abuse thrown at gatherers.

I also think people forget all this loot is random, it's not like if you miss a chest your losing your epic 210 gear, most of it is pretty regular and only really an increase in ilvl.

Secondly, If your PT isn't able to get the chests due you two(Yes not one, but two) gathering, I would call that selfish yes, Then again, so are most people i've encountered in diadem.

Either go with the group, or screw up 7 others people loot/time. You should just make a PF if you wanna gather, Like i've seen done so many times already on my server.
Why you would go in as a incomplete PT to then gather instead of doing the main thing diadem is for is beyond me.

Like i said before, One person gathering is fine. Two? three? goodbye chests, And yes i've had party's that could do it with 4 people. Maybe even 3? But you damn well know you have to have a solid PT that is able to push DPS.
And what is DF Known for? Exactly, not pushing dps.

Why do the gatherers gotta make a party finder? Why don't the people who wanna farm dino island make a party finder and stay out of DF how about that. What if gatherers can't get a PF finder party together, they can't go now cause you think everyone who goes in has to do what you wanna do? How about you put a dino island party together in PF and if you can't get 8 people well guess what you can't go. If a group honestly can't get a chest on a star rank with 7 people then maybe your group needs to learn to play their jobs properly or how about all the time 3 full 8 player parties farm star ranks and even with 8 people don't get the chest?

I'm certain they wouldn't mind if what you are doing would not directly detrimentally affect what they are intending to do. Saying you'll pass on loot when you reduce the chances of actually getting loot appears cynic at best and doesn't really help much.

Frankly, they need to separate gatherers and combat classes, at least in DF. The current system just invites griefing and we really don't need to encourage people to grief others.
