I actually tried that. It's too painful trying to hit L1 with my ring finger and the dpad buttons (especially left and right) with my index finger at the same time. Maybe someone can make a ps4 pad with paddles in the back like the xbox 1 elite controller.

Half skills above require stopping movement to activate because u need to take left thumb off analog stick to hit dpad. That sucks.

Even without clawing, its simple. outside from flash they are all ogcd, taking a second to stop moving to hit a buff. Also it will be some time before you could use them again. Unless you stop in a mid-cast aoe, the time it takes for your thumb to hit a button and be back on the analog is trivial. Of course you can get something like the avenger reflex and not have to worry about that
