Now that I think about it, they could've made every job have their own way to deal with situations in scenes.

But anyway, it really doesn't matter to me. We've always been involved in the story as this mighty hero, I find that people are being kind of whiny that they never look very cool in cutscenes when you look cool fighting evil things outside cutscenes, which is most of the game. I understand why people are so upset though.
