Well if we're using the "Well it's a FANTASY" excuse then i want to ride into all my cutscenes on a flying purple hippo because it's a fantasy and there's no reason i shouldn't be able to. Just like there's apparently no reason a dusty old book or a tool used for mapping the stars wouldn't hold up against a greataxe.

You say that as if that's something really zany and out there, and yet we have loads of odd and fantastical mounts in game. "Flying Purple Hippo" is pretty much on the same level as many already-available mounts. But I guess it's interesting to see what arbitrary thing crosses into the "too-fantasy" zone for ya.
