I have played on 4 servers total. Most recently I transferred to Sargatanas and it's the best one of the 4. Overall it has a generally friendly, upbeat, fun, positive player base and overall the server has a very good vibe throughout it. Even with the recent increase in hunts I have been pleasantly surprised by people's attitudes. I recommend Sargatanas the most.

Another pretty good one is Behemoth. Behemoth server was where I started originally, and from what I remember was generally ok; felt a bit crowded at times but if that doesn't bother you it's probably a good place to look at. Generally a good mix of people and there's one FC there that really likes to do big player run events which are pretty decent.

Can only speak for Brynhildr, but people are generally very nice. PF groups usually fill pretty fast and hunts have people. However, there isn't a lot of progression raiding so I wouldn't come here if that's what you are looking for.

Balmung really is a great server, even for non-RP players.

I've been on four servers, and two data centers, and Balmung is by far the best I've personally experienced.
