    Haven't you heard? They announced that information would be used for a JP style dating sim game with the FFXIV npcs. Just let us have a go at Papashan or Aymeric!

    But seriously, it is just a nice piece of lore they can use later for an event or something. I don't expect any significant gameplay changes though. A birthday gift from SE would be nice, although Veteran rewards cover that nicely already.
