Reloading with Heavensfire and Gauss Barrel

I use the Dark-Steel Blunderbuss as my glamour, and it fits with Gauss Barrel perfectly IMO. I'm also one of those people who just likes the aesthetics of GB though, since it lends more credence to MCH being a magitek based class rather than just the "gun" class some people seem to view it as......

It's not magitek though. Infact the entirty of MCH is everything that magitek isn't; utilizing aether as the primary source of power and weaponry for your turret and ammo. ( The aesthetics of GB would be fine if it actually fit with more guns than it doesn't. Making it a static graphic that stays at the same length no matter what weapon you're using really kills off the factor for just about any gun (espesically ferdiand itself and folding ones such as bismarck)

But that IS magitek. Magitek is one of two things, either using technology that creates a "magic like effect", or using technology that is derived from magic as the source of how it works. The MCH form of magitek is the latter variety, while the Garlean form is the former.....

Magitek ingame has always been referred to as the former. At least I don't recall them ever referring machinist as using magitek.
