    What's the level cutoff for parties post 1.19a?

    It looks like there seems to be some sort of level cutoff where you don't get any experience anymore when partied now. With the anti-PL patch in place, a friend of mine tried to test and it seems like he wasn't getting any experience with an 11 level difference.

    None of my friends have a means of testing to see what the exact cutoff is - anyone figured out what it is? I'm hoping it's a 10 level difference because the old system of only allowing 5 levels sucked badly for some of my friends. Also, I'm wondering how the system works with for example, a 3 man party with players A, B, and C. Players A and B are within the cutoff point in levels, but C is too high for A. However B and C are within the cutoff point in levels, but A is too low for C.

    In that scenario, how would the exp get divided?

    Just speculation, but if it follows the general attitude and SE's definition of PL'ing, should be a ten-level split now.

    Whether its 10 levels or 5 levels, does the exp modifier scale with the level difference? Will an L25 get more exp duoing with another L25 vs an L20 or 25

    It never did so I doubt it does now, it should just be a flat bonus for having someone within range. Also you'd probably level faster with 2 L25s since you'd do more damage =P

    And then after the 10 level cutoff I'm assuming you INSTANTLY get zero exp.

    Damn, that's kinda harsh. I imagine this is only a bandaid fix, but I suppose that it was only necessary to combat PLing.

    I was 31 with a lvl 40 in the pty (On R39~ mobs), and there was no penalty, i was at 400~700 Exp/mob.
