Clearly the devs want you to slow your roll a second and take a break between fights to sort through the amassed loot.
Honestly, I'd just like an option in dungeons and runs period for "pass all" or "greed all" when there are two or more items up for rolling. It'd be particularly useful when doing stuff like the level 50 roulette, where I have no need for anything that drops, or when I'm running Void Ark with friends but I've already got my loot cap for the week.....
The Diadem shouldn't even use rolling for loot in the first place. Since everyone will roll on absolutely everything that drops it would be much fairer to just use a round-robin loot rule that assigns loot to everyone in order. This way everyone should walk away with a similar number of spoils.
Couldn't the same thing be applied to ALL DF groups though without a weekly lockout though? The Diadem shouldn't even use rolling for loot in the first place. White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
Well no. Other DF content has drops that some players could potentially use whilst leveling a job or things they may want for glamour purposes. The i150 and i180 drops in the Diadem are useless for pretty much anyone that enters though; everyone will roll on them solely to turn them in for brass spoils so there's no point in even having the roll feature for them.
I was just talking about this with some friends yesterday. A previous game I played had an auto roll/auto pass feature that I never really missed till we got Diadem. If you go in a premade, just tell people not to roll at all on the gear you're greeding on. It'll eventually be distributed into peoples' inventories as the timer runs out. It seems to be a fairly even distribution as long as nobody rolls on it. The first time we tried it this way, we had several people end up with 15-17 pieces of gear, and two outliers that ended up with 22 and 9. The second time everyone had 15-18. It also clears up the spam in the chat log from people rolling. The only problem is that if one person starts rolling, then everyone else has to or that one person ends up with everything.
We just have people Need on i210 for their class so you do have to keep an eye out for Mistbreak pieces.
Auto roll would be very welcome.
It doesn't help, when quickly clearing the loot backlog, clicking greed on everything, that all the pieces have very similar names. Would at least be a quick fix if something made the gold pieces stand out a bit as those are the only ones anyone is interested in
