    Diadem Suggestions

I love Diadem. It reminds me of some of the most recent FFXI parties so it's kind of nostalgic for me. However, there are a few things that bother me that I think should be addressed.

I don't care about random BiS gear. Honestly, this is what I thought "the hunt" was going to end up being across the realm of Eorzea and was severely disappointed it was not. I feel like, if this was an open world zone it could possibly do better than the current DF option. That side though my most peeve about this whole this is:

    1. Please make fresh track monster spawned claimed to the party that popped them. Each party gets their own tracks, to make it so parties don't get claim on their own tracks is just silly. I feel like people would be more open to it all if they weren't constantly snatched by credit or screwed over when they join a group via DF, or even PF, and people just up and leave.

    2. Please make it easier to get full credit. Yes, getting credit is easy if you have a full party actively trying but if you lose a DPS or if you end up having someone AFK for a brief moment. It can be challenging.

    3. Please change loot system. One thing that has always bothered me in this game is the ability to lot on gear you will never use or the ability to lot on gear when you didn't participate in the kill. I honestly think if you hit "greed" you should be able to obtain that piece over someone who doesn't have the job leveled. While it wouldn't work in all situations, like if you're farming items for spoils, it still could be used on at least the highest tier gear in the zones at least.

    4. Separate queue for gatherers. Gatherer's could still be in the same zone as the DPS parties, and can still changes jobs to DPS if needed. However, you can only do this in a gatherer party. While I don't use DF, I feel like this is a welcomed changed regardless. If you queue for a DPS slot, you should be restricted to changes job to a gatherer class, but if you queue for a gatherer's queue you can change to either. So for the people who want to do a little bit of both gathering and killing, they still can.

    Few things.

I agree, If you have a job 60 you should get prioritized over someone who has it lets say lower than 50. How ever, as gear here is used to get tokens.. its kinda unfair if someone like me, has quite some jobs 60, or some who have em all 60.
I would otherwise totally agree with you.

RNG in this game is a big bad bi... Last two runs (full 90 minutes) i managed to get a wopping 8 items. While a friend of mine had over 30 in one. Thats RNG for ya.
Some ass hat got 4 210 items in one run while he only had the job for one of em.

And lets not talk about the people that gather and still lot every single item that drops.

Which is why I said: While it wouldn't work in all situations, like if you're farming items for spoils, it still could be used on at least the highest tier gear in the zones at least. That way people who could actually use it aren't losing against people who are level 2. All of this could be prevented by not entering a Duty Finger group but it still is a rather annoying situation none-the-less.

If that were the case the Greed system would be completely abused. People would be forced to level jobs they don't enjoy or ever want to play. Because most of the people winning the loot wouldn't actually be using it. They would just have an advantage of obtaining it.

In the long run it would also be very difficult to impliment a different lotting system for different item levels of gear.

As very soon, all of this gear will be obsolete and the main drive behind the "current" mission will be obtaining materia.
