    Free company chandelier problem?

I don't know if this is a bug or not or if I just have bad memory. About two months ago we switched our chandelier from the diamond one to the moogle lighting and I remember being able to swap through the lightings. I swore it was one menu since you were unable to remove the lightings. Did I just misplace? I honestly don't remember.

I want to switch our moogle chandelier back to our old diamond one. But I can't find a menu to switch back. I remember a month or two ago I was able to switch back via a menu.

This was a month or two ago so my memory may be foggy but I honestly remember there being a menu to switch chandeliers to ones that you previously had.

that's weird I just assumed it was destroyed when replaced - I have never seen a menu to swap them then again I have never replaced them before just that wallpaper/flooring gets destroyed so figured chandelier did too

I'm pretty sure that never existed. When you change one of the housing items that isn't furniture you simply lose the original item. It's crappy beyond belief, but that's the way it is.

I'm sorry to report there is no such feature, you must have imagined it. Anything in the remodel menu is destroyed upon replacement. You can open the menu, drop a new furnishing in, preview it, then hit "cancel" instead of applying it if it's not what you like. However, once you confirm it the old decoration is lost forever.

So this is how changing out chandeliers in the houses works: if you have more than one light in your inventory when you open the "remodel estate interior" window, as long as you do not click the "confirm" button and save the change, you can swap around those lights in your inventory in the preview.

If you only have ONE lighting item in your inventory and you wish to compare back and forth between the one currently installed and the new one, you have to close the remodeling window by clicking cancel.

Once you place a new lighting item into the slot and click the confirm button, the previously installed fixture is destroyed and gone forever.

Honestly, I find this to be a really big pain in the butt in some situations (like trying to decide if I want my new moogle light to be the main light or the side lights), but that's how it works right now and it is what it is lol
