Same on PC for those of us who play with controllers. The controls are extremely clunky, not to mention the lack of a cross hotbar. When I couldn't even if pass the second challenge, I gave up.

I'm missing the cross command bar.

But its not unplayable. Finished the last PvE mission last evening.

Well to be entirely fair, has there ever been an RTS that had decent controls with a controller? Halo Wars was still rather clunky. But if there isn't even the cross hotbar, then yeah something's wrong.

Red Alert 3 on the PS3 rather decent controls for a RTS.

Gamepad + Mouse can be ok, but still you can't compete against a keyboard-mouse because he'll be a lot faster.

I play PVE/PVP using Gamepad on PC, and switch to Keyboard + Mouse on LoV. It's just way faster and you can react whatever the situation is, and you can be more specific on wich minion should execute the skill etc...

Still, we need to be able to modify the UI, and a crossbar would be cool too.


The game is awesome and I love it, it's well done and fun, but Gamepad users (and console) needs a push up to have a chance at RP or tournament fights, else they're going to lose against keyboard+mouse because they'll just be faster at everything.
