Iv'e also had no problem with ex roulette..longest is maybe 20 minutes off prime time? As Bard, by the way.
Every time I get that UI error it stresses me out so I just withdraw and rejoin.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
The queue is bugged 0/2 dps and your a dps you should just leave and requeue.
Showing 0/2 dps etc is a bug SE acknowledged. Its just visual does not affect the actual queue and doesnt mean you need to requeue.
A quick little update, as I had time to play around with stuff.
Leaving and rejoining the queue had the same exact behavior. I tried rejoining three times, waited 40m, and 25m both times.
After about 45 seconds, the UI would go 0/2 DPS from 1/2 every time. No idea if this is linked.
Now, when I queued all available dungeons manually (that the leveling roulette would have selected automatically) not only did I not get the 0/2 bug, but I queued in within 5 minutes.
Roulette is definitely broken and that really sucks for the 20's grind before you can start using FATEs efficiently.
Level a tank. Problem solved.
DPS ques were always horrendous outside of DREX
I'm just going to leave this here:

For leveling, use fates, levequests, daily hunt bills, weekly challenge log. If your role isn't needed in DF parties, then you can not do it and level through those other methods, mainly fates. Disproportionate queue times can't really be fixed with the way the game uses a Tank/Heal/DPS composition requirement.
Maybe the next time they do an FF mmo, they won't do these holy trinity roles and jobs can be more unique instead of fitting into templates, like how Astrologian had to be similar to White Mage to fit the requirements of a healer, limiting what could be done with its card support buffs and offensive spells.
Think you're missing the point. It's not the disproportionate wait times based on archetype that's the problem per say. It's the fact that before the 3.1 patch, wait times were not THAT bad. Now they are. Could be Fallout 4's fault, but who can say for sure other than Squeenix who would more likely have those statistics on hand than us.
"I've been playing MMO's a long time and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that lions do not concern themselves with the opinions of sheep. Just take that little voice in your head that tells you to be tactful and understanding and shoot it...shoot it in the goddamn face."
- SAO Abridged (Ep.2 | 8:35)
Before 3.1 this was NOT an issue, and yet now everyone's having problems. It honestly makes no sense considering that usually dungeon queues are almost instant queue for everything a good couple weeks after a patch. I find it strange that SE is claiming there is no issue here.
