    Battle Music [On/Off] Request

    This has probably been mentioned before, and I remember something similar being asked in a live letter but I think it was turned down. Anyway...

    After playing this game for almost a year, I have got a little tired of the same old battle track. I would love an option to turn off the battle music and enjoy the regional music instead. The battle music kind of interrupts the flow and sometimes I don't want an upbeat battle interrupting my exploration. The same goes for when you enter a fate. It seems like a simple thing to implement.

    I remember reading something along the lines of "not adding this feature because we want players to know when they enter a fate and/or are being attacked" but lets face it, it's hard to miss it. It appears on the screen anyway.

    Anyone else feel this would be a good feature? or am I the only one who wants a tranquil experience from time to time? It's already implemented with mount music which is a great feature and I think this would be too.

    I find it especially annoying for FATEs, since it will change to the FATE music even if you're in fact not in the FATE. (Until you level-sync so that you can take part, just being in the same area as a FATE should not count as being in the FATE, but currently it does as far as the background music goes.)

    For the in-combat music, I can kind of see their point that they want you to notice when something you passed by aggros on you, but a single momentary chime could accomplish the same thing without changing the regional music to the rather loud and raucous battle music. (That's a single chime or note when you go from out-of-combat status to in-combat status, not each time another mob aggros after you were already in-combat anyway. The later could get annoying in target rich environments.)
