Disturbing trend with tanks

Looks like people are seeing it a lot with healers (and maybe DPS?) too, if I could edit the title I would to players but I can't. Sorry.

The last week I've been working on leveling up some DPS classes and I've noticed a trend that I haven't seen before. Tanks are constantly bailing on my groups before or right after the spawn gates drop without a word, and half the time after that a tank that joins via in-progress will bail as well. This sometimes causes other group members to drop as they'd rather start a new queue than hope we get a tank with "in progress" on and is willing to stick around.

Today alone this has happened seven (7!) times and it's just making the DPS queues that are already long even more painful as once you finally get a group you have crucial party members dropping like flies. I can sometimes semi-tank some of the content with a good healer (playing Ninja) but that can only get you so far.

Did something happen this last week that's causing this or something? Patch draw back players who aren't willing to play dungeons they don't like? I don't think it's the dungeons as I'm seeing this trend all the way from Sastasha up to Stone Vigil

Was about the comment this. It's not just tanks, almost all of my AST leveling roulettes the past week as been a join in progress. First time it was TamTara and didn't really pay attention because hey, everyone's done TamTara a bazillion times. But it's happened in Stone Vigil, Halitali, Brayflox, and Satasha. Again with Satasha it's understandable because its another that's been done a bazillion times. But this one the party was all sprouts, so good job other healer. Way to paint the community in a good light.

So if you meant the OP then okay, if you meant me about the other healer and the community, I guess even with my response to the DRG I refuse to take how many people try to blame everyone else. How do we even know if the OP actually had a tank leave in the beginning because of the dungeon. Maybe she ran it multiple times and was bad and got the tank both times and decided "nope."

I'll never understand why people drop from a roulette dungeon even before the gate drops. Did they see gear on someone they didn't like and just decided to just bail? It's a ROULETTE! Take what you get..

I've experienced it. Or they disconnect without actually leaving dungeon.

People have been doing that in Aurum Vale for as long as we've had roulette. There are certain dungeons that NOBODY wants to run. Aurum Vale, Dzemael Darkhold, Pharos Sirius and Keeper of the Lake are the really bad ones.

Me too! It's one of the few early lv.50 dungeons that players still have to follow the mechanics to some degree!

As for the other dungeons: They're not really speed run or "face-wall" freindly just like the Stone Vigil is, which is really healing intensive and not fun like the Darkhold is for me. And, the Aurum Vale is totally understandable and trauma inducing like 2.0's Quarn (T_T). And, seriously. Keeper of the lake isn't even that difficult and if someone doesn't know what to do: then be patient and explain it to them. It's super rude to just abandon dungeons without giving an explanation first, or going through as much as you can with them. But, totally understanable in certain cases. Like, a party of trolls!
