A lot of players didn't play RP matches and they have 0 RP or low RP. You played a lot of RP matches and your RP are high 1k RP maybe.

A low RP player play against same RP he wins 50 points. No matters if they are playing to lose or let other player wins. After a few matches, the winner player will earn less points.
You play against a low RP and you wins 17 points.

Two days after, a High RP player play against a High RP player and he wins 50 points.

Can you understand now? Or do you need more examples?

You goal is win against High RP players. If wintraders are playing against them, they will reach your RP and you would fight against them and steal theirs points.

because going into a normal RP battle and losing on purpose losing RP points is not broken right?. there will never be any one with high enough points that way.

A lot of players didn't play AT ALL and come to the championship with 0 RP when I have like 1k.

I'm in the same situation than OP, I never loose a match in the championship but when I see the score of the second one with 15 match with 9 win he can have more points than me after his 30 matches.

I have met only one person with 1k RP and it's my rival and we thought exactly the same about this.

Separated low rank and high rank sounds like a good idea but like I said I saw only one person with more than 1k or at least 500 RP and I don't want to play 30 match against the same guys even if there is a challenge that will bore me and eventually him.

It's just the same thing in TT. The issue with LoV is that it's too complicated a minigame or just not something most of the players are even interested in. You're taking one completely different genre and throwing it into this current game's genre and casual status(for the most part). The issue really is the fact that SE thought it was fine to restrict queues to only servers. If it had been Data Center, it would alleviate win trades and provide more people to play against.

this really should have been a thing since day. there is just literally not enough players as it is. and the ranking is just stupidly designed along with it making it just worse and worse. SE needs to fix this soon

They did not fix TT-Turnament, you can come to te conclusion they are doing it on purpose with the cheating in turnaments - did you expect the new one would be any different? Just lets hope they dont give exclusive rewards because cheaters its impossible to ever get it...

They've never given any proper thought to the Gold Saucer games. Tournaments, matchmaking, point rewards, pricing of related items (chocobo feed, triple triad packs), or even the basic mechanics (what is the point of 4 star cards in triple triad?). I can't imagine they are going to start considering these things any time soon, even though they spend a tremendous amount of time and effort programming this stuff. Funny how they nail all of the advanced programming, but fail in the most basic game logic.

They probably won't fix it, I mean they haven't even fixed the triple triad tourneys. It's been like, a year too.
