    "If you don't like it, don't do it" does nothing to fix the problem for people who want to do hunts and don't have an entire party on friends on immediate standby, though. It doesn't even make an attempt to hide the symptom.

    Hunts were designed with inclusiveness in mind, not for one group to control them like FFXI NMs circa 2005.

    That being said, the problem is less with hunts themselves and more the playerbase in this case.

    Unfortunately there's at least one linkshell or FC on every server who behave this way. It ruined hunts for a lot of people, some of which actually found it ruined their game altogether & stopped playing.

    When people play nice it is great fun, when they don't it sucks treant sap.

    Permaban everyone using the guildwork radar
    Have had situations where we've run across a hunt with no one else in sight but the swarm still rolls in 30 seconds later because some AFK db on the other side of the zone had his cheats running.

    They could just instance these hunts as someone else suggested in an another thread. It would alleviate all the fighting over hunts.

    If you know who's doing it and it's one group... create a linkshell where they're blacklisted and make your own calls in there. It's polite to wait a few minutes, especially if you're using someone else's linkshell to hear about hunts.

    Hunts weren't designed to be inclusive. It was a player base decision to take content designed for, at most, one alliance, and tackle it with hundreds of players. If enough players are present to down the hunt, it's not an early pull. It's absolutely the hunts at fault when fighting them with the intended amount of players brings the wrath of the entire server upon you, because everyone wants a slice of the loot pie.

    I'd like them to stop putting upgrade materials or anything that is remotely progression related as a reward from doing hunts. Would solve quite a few problems that we see when new upgrade mats get added as the seal rewards.

    thats wrong, they were designed as exclusive, competetive content a la first comes first serves

    b ranks for solo persons, a ranks for small groups and s ranks for larger amounts of people
