Xaela VS Raen

Is there any difference in the facial structure of the Female Xaela VS Raen when using the same face options?

I can't put my finger on it but Face 1 seems to look different on Xaela than on Raen?

As far as I can tell, they have the same features, but with different colours.

As someone who fantasias between the 2 very often, other than stats, there is no difference in the options. Minus Skin color. Both have a slight difference in the color palette.

It's just the scale colors, that's all. No facial differences. I made both a Raen and a Xaela female with the same face options and they look identical (my Raen is Sakura Blossom and my Xaela is Pearl Moonlight), except for scale color. I would like the scale coloration that Yugiri has, though...

It's scale coloration and a slightly different spread of skin colors (Raen have more "reddish" options, Xaela have more "bluish"). That's it. Everything else is idential. If anything there's been some disappointment expressed over it, because even the Wildwood vs. the Duskwights, for example, do have a few differences between them.

I want to make a Raen, I think. Something about the scale color seems to change the shape of the face on face 1 ( or draw away from parts of it I don't like)

But my only concern is that the whitish/gold scales will look strange against my Dragoons armour.

I find it hard too. Most of the colors are faded between gradients it seemed. It's like their color pallet is based on pastel paints.

Whenever I tried painting with pastel colors, it was always tough to make it look realistic... :P But Au Ra are kind of cool being just a bit odd. They are a sort of supernatural Japanese "monster" I guess?
They should make a race based on supernatural/urban legend monster from the USA. Then we might get a bigfoot race...

I troubled mine with so long, I decided to say F it, and I just went something random. Took white hair, and the palest tone I could get (and the xaela really hit that next level pale). Funny enough though I actually really like it now, it works with every variation of lighting, lol. So it's really whatever happens in the moment. Throw something out there with the Au'ra, do something weird. May just click.

As far as I can tell one is "Sexy" while the other is "Sexy". Hope that helps.
