3.1 LB Changes AFFECTS Alex Savage.

I know there's another post on this forum from prelim patch notes that got sh*t on.
But the official JP Patch Notes are up.

It specifically states it will AFFECT Alexander Savage.
(No need to argue over the semantics of "dungeon" vs "raid")

So there's that. Attention needs to be brought to this; how it adversely and unnecessarily affects specific statics.

The playerpool capable for A4S is already small, and this WILL screw w/ statics (including mine: blm+smn+brd) who attempt to use the Sac method.

The Sac method is legit as far as SE is concerned, now double casters groups are screwed out of a Healer LB3, whereas double melee groups will be fine - wtf.

But the player pool capable and geared enough to start doing Savage Alex will increase with the additional Eso gear upgrade paths that will be available when the patch goes live.

If you didn't read the notes in their entirety, you can purchase gobcoats and Gobtwine from tomes with Centurio seals from hunts.

Well to be fair, A3S has not been a gear-check for about a month, Players can comfortably be i203+ before 3.1 hits, just from ESO and A1/2 Tome exchanges.
Players hit the wall/burnout/static-broke due to non-gear-related issues.

The additional gear won't change the fact that both A3/A4 are heavy mechanics and competence checks, something that ilvl bump won't really help.

I do hope the gob-upgrades from VA/Centrino seals encourages more players to return to raiding.

But that doesn't really help 2x caster groups currently in a4s progression ><.

The point I was trying to make was if more people feel more comfortable gear wise, then more people will be trying savage which should hopefully mean, more strats being worked out and more clears.

Yeah. Found that change to be silly honestly. Maybe this is their way of saying Bard is really a Bard-mage. And no the gear upgrades probably won't make people go back to alexander savage imo as there are going to be quite a few ways to get ilevel 210 gear here soon which is the motivation for most people. Though you may get a few that want to do it just for the win.

I believe I heard that in the live patch notes reading that they'd decided to hotfix it out. They won't be able to do it before patch but hotfix it will be done?

And this answer helps established groups that play together more than a year now and don't want to exchange people how exactly?

You can however upgrade your eso gear from weekly void ark.
Or did i misread what you mean't perhaps, Or a future update?
I would at least hope they are not going that route again like they had done for Soldiery were as players simply needed to do hunts... Not at all a good route to take

You can. You have to get the Clan Hunt logs or whatever. They cost 500 seals, 6 of them get you twine, 4 for coat. They can also just flat out drop from hunts if you're lucky enough
