Hello =) so ive been playing for almost a month and my subscriptions about to run out i love the game and would like to renew it BUT i have spent way to long looking for ways to resubscribe clicked every link on the mog station and have gone through multiple forums figured i'd just ask, all i have been able to find is pay with your credit card ect or buy a online game card with your credit card... SO my question being is there any ways to subscribe without the use of online in Canada?(In store game cards) i'd hate to stop playing due to this reason alone.

Pay pal is an option. But ya credit card is he only way I know

Check your local game shops and see if they sell the game time cards. I know Best Buys around have them.

You could also get a pre paid credit card from a store and use that to renew.

Yes there is game cards even in Wallmarts. So nothing can stop you. Enjoy ^^

I connect my bank account to my paypal and pay my sub that way. So as long as you have a bank account you can sub. I don't have a credit/visa card.

You might be able to find timecards. But I live in Canada and I have never found a store that sells them( and no, the Walmart near me doesn't sell them). Every game shop says that they no longer sell anything online related because of websites like steam. Which is annoying.

If you are willing to spend the money and plan on playing for a few months, I would recommend buying Crysta and using that to pay for the subscription. I generally purchase a $100 worth of Crysta and with that I am subbed for a whole year.

12.99$ per month x 12 = about 156$

Are you telling me for 100$ of crysta you get the whole year?

I'll have to check it out, I don't like feeling screwed.

Been on reddit, read it's 1500 per month, so with 100$ (10000 crysta) that's for a bit more than 6 months.

You forget it's not 12.99 per month when you sub for longer time periods at one time.

Example: I'm Legacy so my base sub is 9.99 per month. If I purchase 90 days at once it's 26.97 a month. So I save a little over 3 dollars. 180 days is 47.94 a month which saves you 13 dollars. Now, I thought they got rid of the ability to buy Crysta WAY back in 2.0 but I could be wrong so I will make a solid assumption that what Discordia is speaking about "100 crysta" is for that 180 days. Because that's the longest you can sub for at one time. So yeah. Look into purchasing longer periods at once rather than monthly IF you can. I really could but I prefer not too in case something IRL happens and I need to unsub for a period of time. No sense spending the money now and not playing because I'm unable to. THAT would be a waste of my funds.

Just double checked my Crysta. Currently 180 days costs me 4,794 Crysta, so a purchase of 10 000 Crysta (which is about $100 USD) should net me 360 days of FFXIV. Granted, I am a legacy player so my fees are less than non-legacy.
