15 dollars for a nondyeable, one-piece outfit?

Square Enix are you taking the piss right now? 15 dollars is way, way too much for a outfit, much less one you can't dye, which is just the one piece, that you can't mix and match.

This would have been a buy at like 2.50. 5 dollars would be a bit much. 10 would be out of my price range and a bit high. 15 is way too much - a single outfit should not cost more than (or equal to, if you aren't basic) a month's sub.

I guess it's optional and I don't have to buy it but it's A) kind of disappointing to see more stuff get shoved into the cash shop and B) I'd probably still buy this at a more reasonable price point.

I bought it thinking it was going to be separate. I should have checked the forums first.

The hairstyle is neat but $15 for a non-dyeable one piece outfit is not worth it. Going to just to stash it on my retainer. :/

Something to keep in mind as for the probable reason for the pricing. The other scions used much more basic outfits and none of them came with hair styles meanwhile the one Minifilla wore was clearly a specifically designed model which means SE needed to do additional work to make sure the model scaled right and looked good on all the races before they could even put it up on the cash shop. Then they had to do the same with the hair. That alone I believe justifies the higher price than the other Scion outfits. The one part I do think they should have done when charging 15 dollars for it was to make it dye-able but its kind of a minor thing IMO considering that it was likely a fully unique model.

I wouldn't have any issue with it if we could dye them/it came in pieces. They fact it's literally just a cosplay set means I couldn't care less about it.

I would have had no issues with paying $15 for this unique outfit + hairstyle if it wasn't a one piece. Graphically, when equipped, it's separate elements so I don't see the need to make it a solid piece that we can't mix/match with.

Not only that, but is it me or they don't "feel" very well detailed? For the exception of Minfillia's outfit (which I also like, but not gonna dish out money for A outfit in a p2p game), I've seen people able to reproduce the other outfits with pieces of equipment from the game.

Honestly I'd love it if it was individual pieces myself and I would buy it almost instantly if they were. That being said I'm still gonna pick it up for the hairstyle and I still think that the reason it is a solid piece is due to the way the model was made in 2.0. Also given the response so far by many people I wouldn't be suprised if we saw this set get adjusted in some way shape or form.
