    MND and INT... the difference?

How do you perceive the difference between MND and INT? I don't mean what the stats do, but what are the stats are a measure of lore-wise.

I've always thought of Int as something analogous to intelligence (obviously) and Mnd as emotional well-being... or maybe discipline? I'm not really sure...

In FFXI, I always thought of INT as Intelligence (as you said) but MND more as Piety since White Mage was based in San D'Oria... and that White Mage was basically analogous to real world Priests or Monks (Monks as in the ones that lived in cathedrals). In this game... not too sure.

Mind is what people are using most on these forums and Intelligence is what they lack while they're doing it.

I would say intelligence as a person having good intellect lol.
Mind, I would say a persons faith in something, and that something is whatever I guess.
Piety, I see it as a persons inner strength?

    LOL Zing!

IMO, mind is like the potential of thought where as intelligence is the action of thought.

Potential -> MP pool. Action -> spells/weapon skills

MND = ones strong will and indomidable(sp?) spirit
