What the hell happened to Alex normal?

To be frank, most players "in the know" (i.e. Those who have read patch notes or have social contacts ingame) are probably doing Void Ark, Thordan, and Diadem at the moment.
That pretty much leaves...uh...leftovers, doing Alex NM.

Honestly, Alex Normal has been pretty bad since about two weeks after HW was released.

This is what I thought as well. I've not attempted a run yet, so cant speak personally, but the forums have been making Alex rounds sound AWFUL for quite awhile now.

I stopped doing Alex Normal when the meta changed to no one get in the Gobwalker in A2... WTF seriously. Why would people think they DON'T get in a gobwalker? And then the people that think a gobwalker is only for bombs, apparently a gobwalker can't apply debuffs on enemies...

Probably more this than anything else. Why put in the time to farm ilvl 190 gear when one can farm ilvl 210 gear?

This 100%. There is basically no reason to do alex normal unless you just hit 60 with an off-job. Its so easy to get 200+ gear now in other content.
