What the hell happened to Alex normal?

Ok so today I was working on getting some gear for my paladin figured I'd run Alex normal a bunch and gear him up for higher content. Before 3.1 I could do a run of any Alex floor with no issue everyone was usually on the ball and even if there was one hiccup or so we everyone else could push through and clear. Not only that but people were pretty civil and fairly nice if not already tolerating of others even new players. However today I attempted Alex floor 1 5 times and got not a single clear why you may ask. Well I tanked all but my last attempt. First attempt we had 2 new people.....half the party left saying stupid stuff like"oh god newbies or bleh I'll try with a diffrent group". Second third and fourth attempt we kept wiping due to dps not paying attention to mechanics and not shrinking bombs causing wipe after wipe.

The last attempt was the worst after hearing Faust we get to the boss one of our dps says him and another dps will take 0.5 with one of the tanks. So we pull said tank messes up and dosnt grab Aggro on 0.5 so our other tank grabs it and takes it away so we can get on with the fight I stayed in the main as we had discussed not realizing the other dps refused to go to 0.5. We wipe cause no one is watching adds on 0.5 and our healers are pretty new and a bit slow to heal. After the wipe he 2 dps yell at me and the other dps asking why we didn't attack 0.5 we tell them it was because they were going to get it. They get angry and say no we attack the one so and so tank Attacks. To which I reply why does it matter who tanks what you should dps what we agreed on. They get upset call everyone bad players and leave....so I have decided to not do Alex in df ever again.....

I noticed that too.

I could not believe what i saw in A1.

Tanks who can't freaking provoke Opressor 0.5 (there was even a DRK who didnt have provoke cuz getting Gladiator to lv22 was useless, according to him), healers who are not DPSing nor healing, and last but definitly not least, DPS who COMPLETELY IGNORE all adds or even the 0.5 boss.

In one of these runs (dont remember if I was tanking or healing), after 2 wipes (or 3 if you consider the wipe to faust...) a healer who knew what he was doing, nicely asked if someone didnt know what they were doing, and if so he'd explain it.
Some DPS enraged and started saying it was "lack of heals" (it was NOT, they completely ignored all adds and 0.5 both times, leaving all the adds on healers till boss jumped) and they freaking vote kicked the healer for "harassment".

I decided to queue as DPS and it was surprisingly fast... i solo DPS'd 0.5 while the other 3 DPS were on 1.0 with my ilv190ish DRG, managed most adds, and still 0.5 had less HP than 1.0 in the end...
Of course one tank couldn't position freaking 0.5 in a timely manner, took well over 20s for him to position the boss away, and there was a WTF WHM spamming medica2 non-stop as well as using a "BALLAD, BARD I NEED BALLAD!!!!" macro all the time.
Eventually we won... and i got the stupid bolt i wanted for a healer accessory. I'm not going back to Alexander normal anymore, ever.

If you have to deal with the cluster chuck of "filthy casuals" on Alex Normal, you too will suffer Starbucks level of RAGEEEEEEEEEE!! LOL And probably want to HULK SMASH all those noobie boobies with practically ZERO reading capabilities and suffers from lack of comprehension, can't dodge anything and pretty much ignore mechanic, leroy zergkin everything.

Yeah, I gave up on those last week. While grinding out 5 gear sets(minus chests), I noticed the quality of player getting worse and worse as the weeks went by. A1 is a nightmare right now.

To be frank, most players "in the know" (i.e. Those who have read patch notes or have social contacts ingame) are probably doing Void Ark, Thordan, and Diadem at the moment.
That pretty much leaves...uh...leftovers, doing Alex NM.

Honestly, Alex Normal has been pretty bad since about two weeks after HW was released.

It's just ultra-terrible now.

Anyone else notice you can Knockback the Manipulator (A4 Normal)? ._. When did that happen? Saw him in the middle of the arena for the first time today. xDD

Also on topic: I'm working on my crafters and watching my hubby play next to me and he is having a rough time in Alex. Allot of people ignoring mechanics.. I don't even know how. xD
