Chest drop is random, you could get silver chest from rank 1 and 2. Yes for brass coins farm, just do diadem easy. But Diadem normal gives you more option - to farm easy to kill mobs, and also join the rank 5 and star mobs when they spawn. Better chance for gears, and also farm. Just not great when half your teammates want to gather only..
