no EXP when above a certain level??

I just had a PT where someone left (our healer) and we didnt want to port back to uldah over one person, so a guy said "il change to my 38 THM" (party was 24-30) he didnt mind taking less exp as long as the rest of us got a couple more levels ....we start killing stuff and...nothing, no exp.

where people that pride stricken that they had to cry endlessly that other people where leveling too fast? If the players who were speed leveled join your PT and they clearly sucked because of it....you do realize you can kick them and not play with um right? Now we get to go back to uldah and shout for 30 more mins for a new healer because of this.

As much as i dont care to be speed leveled, i hate it when they turn it around and pretty much screw others because of it. Thanks btw. Flame away if you must...

same thing happened today with me and my wife, i'm 10 levels higher, last week i used to kill mobs wile she heal me, now we cant do this any more and i have to wait for my wife to level up solo so we can start leveling again, but i think she dont want to do that, and she wants to wait for a new patch and see if they going to fix it.

If he didn't mind taking less exp, he could have just dropped party and helped from outside.

What's preventing her from doing that? Just let her tag the mobs first, then you can kill them while she heals you.

Yeah you can still PL from outside the party. The person outside won't get xp but you'd still be helping who you want to.

So sad that the rpg fans/ leveling up haters (which imo makes no sence, there are online games without levels they could play) are going to have to actually participate to level up now. :'( :'(

Apparently, if someone is 10 (maybe more than 9) levels lower than the highest level person in the party, then they get no EXP.

I have to be honest, I don't see an issue with this. I can't think of a situation where someone would need to be in a party with someone 10 levels higher than them (unless they were trying to PL).

every healing job is the same in all mmo's just have to watch people life bars. i doubt it was the powerleveling the person just sucked.
