There are talks that the FFVII remake is a timed exclusive first for PS4, and can make it to other consoles. I believe it was stated somewhere online that it was SQUARE-ENIX who was one of the first developers who got the dev kits for the new Nintendo NX, and stated that their current PCs had to be upgraded in order to use the dev kits for the console; meaning that the NX console is superior than the PS4. That is a rumor, but I do believe that SE was one of the firsts to get a kit for it. If that's the case, then Cloud on SSB could be a hint that FFVII Remake could later come out on the NX.

i did heard the same about the time exclusivity, and since it come to pc i don't see not coming on xbox *shrugs*

There's always rumors about Nintendo consoles before they come out, claiming they'll be far better than the end result actually is. At this point, I trust Nintendo rumors about as much as I trust Peter Molyneux talking about all the content his games will have.....
