    This is getting pretty tiring...

When I started this game, I managed to obtain a steady frame rate average of 30 to 60, tweaking settings as I go over the last year.

Blah blah blah lets get to the point.

In patch 1.9 I was psyched for the new raids, and I ran them....at 20 fps...
So after more tweaks and a driver update, i got a good 30 to 40 fps in the two raids.

and now in 1.9a, I ran 20 to 25 in the third raid.

Square...Enix... Are you trying very hard to alienate me? At this rate I will not be able to enjoy any of the endgame content comfortably, my settings are literally all on the lowest option at this point, I more then qualify the system recommended requirements.

So basically every time you release a patch, my computer will have less and less ability to run the content smoothly.

Should I quit the game now and save myself the trouble?

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460, Super Galaxy Factory OC model, runs twice the chipsets original clock, and the VRAM is OCed so hard the card thinks it has 4 gigs, as seen on my DxDiag

Graphics engine is broke, "they are working on it". I'd assume it would be fixed by 2.0 lol...

That is quite impressive! At what core/shader clock does the card run?

What? OCing the memory clock has nothing to do with the amount of memory being reported.
What you are seeing is on-board ram + shared memory.

To help with figuring out what is wrong, it would help if you could use the FFXIV Config application and copy/paste the system info, plus list at what settings you are running the game.

I had something similar to you

    Check your nvidia setting.

There's an option for power managment somewhere set that to max proformance.

    That fixed it for me.

Your card might be going into a low power state randomly.

failing that roll back your drivers to 175 as 180 is kind of buggy

Your pc is only a gpu ? Try listing ALL your specs, because i think your cpu might be bottlenecking your setup. And about your gpu,its Impossible for a gpu to oc to Twice its original clock, that would fry it instantly.

What resolutions are you guys with the same GFX runnin at, and are you running window mode? I know some comps that have issues running the game will do better if you lower the resolution. If in window mode this will kinda be a pain(imo) sense the window will be smaller. But if you do a lower res with full screen it will run better. No one likes to reduce there quality, especially when they haven't had to before. But this will undoubtedly improve frame-rate, while you wait to find answers. I wish there was a wat that you could still alt + enter to make it maximize with window mode. A lot of games these days are starting to support that.
