I love the minion thing, but this tournament is not OK

I love the whole minion battle thing, but the tournament scoring is horrible. Look at the scoreboard here:



Momoko is my main, Popoto is my alt. My main has like 1700+ RP now. My alt has like 0 RP and has done 0 ranked matches other than the 6 tournament matches.

I started using my alt to test out what the scoring system was doing, as my main was getting 1 point per match. 1 friggin point. My alt is like 200 points ahead of my main at only 6 matches. So whenever I fight a tournament match on my main, I'm wasting 1 out of my 30 matches on 1 point.

So what was the point of the RP matches at all? Do they want us to just tank our RP points by losing a lot before a tournament? Do you even lose points for losing? Cause I can't even catch up in points on my main at all.

I know first place doesn't matter much (other than for the MGP prize. You only need 10 match wins in 4 tournaments to get the minion) but I play because I find winning fun. This scoring system is absolutely unfair. It's going to be like TT where it's impossible to find a match with anyone and the only way to play is to win trade.
