FFXI-2 is on it's way!

I'm done with this game. Yoshi-p and his buddies either have no clue of what they're doing or they just caved in to to all the FFXI whinners who keep begging for a clone. And well they have it.

The game was playable before 1.19. I had lots of good times, with friends and SOLO.
Now i'm doing 24 dmg everytime i hit? WTF? First they tell me it's because of old gear... fine i upgrade... guess what? Not much of a difference.

SOLO in this game is dead and with this latest patch they put the last nail in the coffin for casuals.

Other failed MMO managed to fix themselves over time with patches but SE just shot themselves in the foot with every new patch they put out.

If i wanted to have 10 of my friends help me kill a mob 2 levels above my own i would go play FFXI and not play another game pretending to be something it's not.

Too bad i really had high hopes for this and was willing to be understanding when they say we should try and get used to the new gameplay but this is ridiculous...

Is this your first rage-quit or have we been down this rant before?

lol solo is great for me, my 24 lance does really well, especially on leves, its pretty quick imo.

I dont really post much as you can see, but i agree with all, not the OP. I have not had any issues soloing. I Solo right now because i am just killing time and am not full time so i do not want to get into an LS for anything serious. I have to say that i have never had so much fun with soloing until now. I dont understand how people think soloing is dead...

And how can you do it wrong???????????

I have played XI since PS2 release and this is no where near XI.

I kind of understand the frustration with their crusade against solo exp on battle classes, and I don't care for some of the Vana'diel-esque additions recently, and don't even get me started on the server lag during the Ifrit fight!

Still I disagree that the game is being destroyed for casuals. You have leves, company leves, behest, side-quests, all of which are entirely geared towards casual players. Crafting recipes have been simplified, making it much less of a time sink than it once was. Gathering classes are...well...gathering classes. >_>

There are plenty of options if you take the time to look around. No you won't get as much xp as a party would, but you're hardly left completely without solo options if you so choose.

Ah great, someone that sucks is leaving. We'll have less people sucking and actually do things in an MMO, which is oh so shocking to do.

As for your comment for failed MMOs, I'm going to have to disagree with you, now usually I wouldn't explain it to you because you wouldn't care anyway, but I'm feeling nice tonight so I'll go ahead. Other fail MMOs didn't "fix themselves up", if they did they would still be around. FFXIV thus far is the only MMO that a developer is willing to fix, not some might argue "well its because they have a lot of money" yes that's true which in turn means that this MMO won't be out in the darkness along with the other failed MMOs that you mention.

So...bye OP...no one will miss you, and don't come back.
