So pretty much every DPS class in the game has *some* method to recover their own HP (albeit very slowly or only a tiny bit):

DRG: Life Surge/Bloodbath/Second Wind
MNK: Second Wind (Third Wind)
BRD/NIN: Second Wind
BLM/SMN: Physick


The only DPS job that has no way to heal their own HP via Job Abilities or Cross-class abilities is MCH. I'm not saying they *NEED* an ability, but it's unusual that they do not have any options. This means when soloing, it's a bit more difficult than other jobs.

To remedy this I propose the following:

Reassemble: Next weaponskill will result in a critical hit. If the next action is an area of effect attack, only the first enemy hit will be ensured critical damage. Damage dealt will be absorbed as HP, up to 10% of maximum HP.


I don't think this is overpowered. Melee DPS can heal more because they take more damage from being in close-quarters, however even BRD gets to have Second Wind if they desire.

Another option is to make Heartbreak/Misery's End heal 20% of the player's Max HP, similar to Mercy Stroke. Any thoughts?
