    Take it a step further. Meld like quick synthesis with an option to stop on success. Enter how many you'd like to try. Get up, walk away, go do something more interesting than watching failing 50 times on a 7% meld.

    But, if SE feels that is being "too nice", I'd take the OP suggestion. The navigating of the menu alone is such a PITA. When I have to meld anything below 20% chance, I move all my materia to a retainer, except that which I want to meld and use... whatever the "confirm" key is on my keyboard to just spam it until success. /yawn

    Absolutely need this, doesn't mean that I like having failed melds, but this will cut some time.

    And minimize human errors in itself.
