Void Ark drop question

Can someone tell me how this works? I'm 60 AST, so did Void Ark last night. First boss or whatever loot dropped 2 items, both were the Healer head gear so same item. I rolled and got it and I assume the other healer did as well. Then the next boss same thing, 2 items drop and they are both the same thing the Healer head gear. After that it was more random like MNK and so on. Does it always give you something or was that just a weird coincidence to get 4 of the same item back to back?

Now it says reward already received/weekly. Does that mean I have to wait a whole week before I can get any other items from there? If so why would anyone run it since you only get 20 ESOs which you can get from Seal Rock in 1/4th the time?

Yes.
(Added by edit: To be specific, though... pretty sure you can still roll on the minion, if it drops; and any other non-gear items, if there are any).
