Need help with final story quest (SPOILERS)

So, the final quest has a trial with a time limit. I suck at those so I need some help, I couldnt figure out where the rest of the hostages are, its really hard.. Help?

Just run back the way you came. the hostages are in those two long hallways owo. The hostages themselves wont spawn till you aggro/attack the monsters there. I hope this helps.

Advice always go for the guys attack hostages first. When get to top go down, then right get the 2 guards and the first knight machine, quickly undo the binds when their killed, run to the left straght through to next t junction turn left repeat with those guys, agro both as they knock the refugees health down quick. once killed, unbind and then immediately run back to the top to assist in the fight. The main guy will agro you, stay close to the two good knights and take out all the thrash mobs first to keep the important knights health from being depleted then with the 2 knights finish off that last guy and enjoy the cut scenes after. Echo gets stacked after each fail so may take a few times but you should be able to do it. Tried to decribe it as spoiler free as possible. I completed on 3rd trial as a squishy black mage theat last guy hits hard and it seemed one of the knights wasnt to good with the healing a squishy mage needs.

It may help to know that the hallways down which the enemies and hostages are located are not part of the original map.

I got lost myself doing this quest a lot. I ran back to Y'shtola about 3 times before I found the other hallway. >.< (I tried to use the map as reference the whole time, which threw me off)

Thankfully, I was on my WHM so I just Bene'd Ser Aymeric after I found them all. I think he was at 16/100 when I got to him. XD

oAo..I guess i got lucky that i found them so easy...i was not really thinking about it and just ran wherever XD,

You panicked is all. There are only a few places to look, try stay calm! You can do it ^^

On tank classes, provoke will get the target's attention away from the hostage. From there its a matter of moving them so that their aoes don't hit them.

I wish this was the case when i did it on my Warrior. Both sides spawned hostages at the same time, so the second set was half dead by the time i got over to them. *almost* failed it as a result, then almost failed it again on the final hostage when a certain somebody hit 1 hp. lol
