Is the Duty Finder working as it should?

So in the patch notes it says 2.0] The matching algorithm for Duty Roulette has been adjusted to reduce wait times. I am a healer trying to do the Expert Roulette my Average wait time says 5m but my Time Expired is of right now is 25m. Last night I got to 40m and left. Before the update I got in as healer within 5m or less and as a DPS around 15m. I have yet to try DPS.

Anyone else having problems with the duty finder Roulette.

P.S. I can get in under 5m if I'm not in the Duty Roulette.

I'm running into the exact same thing. I just ran both instances individually outside of the roulette, and spent less than 45 seconds combined in queue. Going on 30 minutes in queue for roulette, with average wait time of 5 minutes.

My queues have been 5-6 minutes or less for roulette as ninja, like normal.

Yeah I've been having that all day lately. Pre-3.1 as a dps, I could get in within 5-8 minutes, instantly with a healer friend. But all day, with a healer and a tank, we've been sitting with "less than 5 minutes" and it's up to 57 minutes now. Tried expert earlier with said healer friend, we sat for a good 45 minutes

I'm dps but it saying 5m and taking nearly 40 isn't right. Especially at like 6-8pm, that's prime time. Even though dps queues are bad they aren't THIS bad.

An odd thing I've noticed is that sometimes I never get an average time, and sometimes none of the windows are lit up for the duration of the wait time. Even if I'm queue-ing healer in a 4man, the healer window sometimes never lights up.

Beyond that, I did end up waiting over 40 minutes for Trial roulette before I forgot I was even in it, but I was BLM so I didn't really think anything of it.

YES!! I had the same issue!

I queued as a healer this morning in Expert, and was waiting 30+ mins, even though it said less then 5. When I selected the dungeons individual the wait was 10 min. I don't think it s working right.

Healer roulette on Expert times are huge for me as well, over 30 minutes.

My guess is that this is working as intended: it's getting the people new to the areas in first. Since you're already unlocked Roulette, you're not new to the area and thus do not have priority over new players.
